Hi All Anybody having problems in the st helens area?. I have a couple of friend's in that area both with the same problem, no signal. scanning finds all the channels at around 90% but they will not display them. The boxes work fine in widnes & runcorn because I have taken them and tried.? any ideas would be apreciated. Thanks
There is not a problem with the Starviews or the Eurovox's in that area, but it could be a localised cab problem, that's all but 90% signal is way to high in my opinion, evening HiTeck, presume you where watching the match earlier hope you are well mate.

Hi They have two diferent boxes one is a max blue and the other a v08, they have both been to my house in widnes and a friend in runcorn and get everything no problem, While scaning both boxes get up to 90 in places but mostly 83ish, All channels are listed but when you try to watch them is says no signal. ?
So the box works fine at your house and at mates, but at the house in the st helens area it wont work? Which house are you wanting it to work at 8| I'm confused!! Did you try the subbed box as said.
Hi sory I will start again, I fashed around 35 eurovoxes last week for people I know, All types including red blue maxv etc. All have been taken home to there locations and are working fine except for the only two people from st helens. They have both been back to me and I have shown them working on my cable. they also took them to another friend of mine in runcorn to try and they worked fine ther. When in st helens they get no signal, they are cabled up correctly and during scaning all seems normal all channels are found and can be edited into alphabetical order etc but when you exit from menu to watch the channels it says no signal. I have advised them to try changing provider etc & a factory reset but still getting the same result.
If they are working at your house/mates then not at theres then it's a problem with there set up, as said tell them to try there own subbed box to see if it is working also check there signal strength by pressing info twice if there signal is too high this can also cause problems. Take out any splitters when scanning. The max V box try turning the internal signal booster off/on to see if that helps but everytime you change you will need to save then reboot the box for changes to take effect. Edit: just on me way out so try as said then get back to us.
I will be speaking to the two people involved over the next few day’s and will try what you suggest. Both have subbed boxes that are fine
