hi guys just need a bit of info on star view 4 i have a star view 2 and a mate wants it and thinking to upgrsde to 4 can you flash using null cable ,do you need a different loader for firmware etc or shud i sticvk with what i have????
The starview 4 does not have the facility for a NULL MODEM lead - It is flashed via the USB with a pendrive/stick, you can even record onto the stick if you get a large capacity one, but it is recommended that you buy an HDD for that purpose - You will find the firmware and guidance in Eamo's FTA Library, bottom of post or for more guidance on flashing just click the link Starview 2nd line at the bottom.
