Hi, I am having a problem with my friends starview 3 box. Mine works fine they both have the same firmware and same key code in the menu. We deleted all the channels then did a full scan and it picks up the channels but when we go to watch them it comes up with scrambled or bad channel the firmware version is dated 30th November 2008. They had problems with the internet and had a workman out to fix it and he had to boost the power at the exchange and it worked fine for a week and now has the symptoms above. Really need to get this working for 6 nations starting soon so any help would be appreciated. I know other people with the same box and theres works fine too. Thanks in advance Cheers
what fw have you on the box also check that the emu is on, to do this press menu, 1570 and emu on exit back. if emu is of you will only receive free to air channels
Thanks that was the problem, they told me they did not change anything. Will keep that in mind in future.
