hi,i just got a starview 4.but have problems with the set up.i did the basics.selected installation,auto scan and then selected provider n*L.it then scans but it comes up no new channels found ? can someone guide me from here.im a coumputer dummy so if it can be explained in simple terms,that would be great.thanks a lot to anyone who can help
You`ll need to flash the b0x with the latest firmware. 1.07 for the uk & 1.09 for Ireland You`ll find the firmware in eamos library, under my sig in the "Starview Super USB" folder. You need a USB stick to flash the b0x. Download the firmware onto your desktop & drag it onto the stick. Insert the stick into the usb slot at the back of the b0x. Press Menu > Select usb at the bottom of the screen. Highlight the firmware & press ok, you`ll see Data restore. Press yes & the firmware will now load onto the b0x. When its finished, press menu > 1570 & turn keycode on & exit to channels.
