in sunny RUNCORN, SILVER ORIGINAL STARVIEW 2 I think. I Usaully change cw code but now thats all gone . . .!

the best advice i can give to you is to update your box with autoroll firmware

Ok you will need the gtrom v.400rar loader which can be found in eamo’s library (starview software) which can be found here http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html
Then you will need the crypstar-v1.4-genuine only zip which can be found in the firmware folder ,download the gtrom loader and save it to your desktop,download the crypstar v.400 and save that to your desktop,open the gtrom loader it should have the api only box checked,clik on bin file and find where you saved the crypstar file (desktop) open that in the loader,connect the box in standby to your pc (null modem cable) please note the box should not be connected to the tv, click download on the gtrom loader and you will see a percentage bar on the loader wait till it competes the download( a pop up box should appear and say download compete) then disconnect from the pc and that’s it.then go through the installation process from scratch

 

thanks,got the files but how do I open them, windows just keeps coming up open save cancel, when I press open it just repeats over and over.

 

Use winrar or other similar program to unpack them. You will find winrar in Eamos as well.

 

cheers sc0ucer only popping in for a mo,make sure you have a null modem cable mark and if your pc or laptop has no serial port you will need a usb to serial adapter

Hi guys, have a starview the box 25 vents, downloaded gt rom and cryptar but after about 30 seconds it comes back failed!! help............please

 

if you have starview th box you put the wrong firmware on you should have 4.50 forIreland or 4.51 for the uk is this the box you have?

 

i have the box starview 3 and cannot get to my cas page to turn key emu on. system says API ver 7.08e and boot ver 8.00. tried doing firmware update with null modem cable and usb adaptor and keep getting flash fail. [ tried 1570, 2004, 2007 ]can anyone help please

 

ok just tried different software and same problem!!!!!!!!!! please help
