Hi,can someone please help I have a star view on loan and have been trying for hrs to get the box up and running. I have the most up to date codes (I think) have set up as per advice on this web site and have tried this a number of times including re-setting factory settings. I am now getting a blue and black screen telling me scrambled or bad channell. Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

Press menu - type 1570 - turn EMU on - exit out to a channel like SKY and let it update

Well then you aint got the right codes, if you manually enter them it should come straight on, if you have V4 on the box or the 2.57e for clones, doing what I posted should auto update.

I don't have either of those models. the codes I'm using are:

    Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49
    Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06
    NTL Dublin

Are these correct to the best of your knowledge. I see they have not been updated since 8th July?

    Those codes are correct

    try this method

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose N*L
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    176 Channels found etc
    Exit

    Menu 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

Please see conversation above (Nick Jnr.) I have gone through it all I think. Including trying a reset on the main providers box in the house. Still only get 16 or so channels most all of which I have on the nmormal digital service.

    Any ideas??
