A few years ago, I copied star Wars Battlefront to a DVD-R. I mean, I installed the game to: C:\Games\STBF Then I copied that file to a DVD-R. Now I dug up that DVD-R, and I can play it straight from running the file off the disc, however it is very slow, so when I try to copy it to my hard drive, it cannot copy, or cyrllic reduncy check and things like that, but I know for a fact it works because I can play it off the dvd. So does anyone know of a program or something that will help me copy it? Thanks
Had a think and it sounds (crc check failed in sector??) like a damaged disk. Try a good disk data recovery tool.. something like dvd/cd data rescue. Or a freeware program like this one.. http://marmro.homeip.net/Description/unstopcopy.zip.html (plus the cat icon is cool!)
