Star Wars IV

    i'm having problems copying the files for Star Wars Episode IV. i'm using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, when i try to copy the files through DVD Decrypter it copies most files except one "VTS_02_4_.VOB"
    any help is appreciated. i never had any problems with any other movie excpet this one. please help!

    Welcome to the forum. Try cleaning it real well and then re-rip w/ DVDDecrypter. If it fails again then it is due to scratches or a bad press. Try to get another copy to try. I did the movie no problems but that was when the DVD first came out.

    Window cleaner and hot water works well for cleaning (in my experience).

    Also, make sure you've updated to the lastest version of Decrypter.

    i had the same problem with Return of the Jedi recently.. i think i ended up ripping it with DVD decrypter in file mode, & im sure it gave me the same grief about 'VTS_02_4_.VOB'.. try that, then open DVD shrink, click 'open files' select the folder where u ripped it to. go to Re-Author, select the main movie only & burn it out with Nero (if you've got it, if not, im sure decrypter will burn it just as well) Thats what worked for me anyway. good luck!
