Anyone out there pls.help Live in a small park in greystones,Co.Wicklow.Cable(Chorus) tv in this area.Went through the whole bit up to auto scan--even checked emu 1570 everthing is on.Coming up as no signal/channels found.Yet worked perfectly in Blackrock Co.Dublin.This park may have MMDS Any suggestions
think ya just answered ure own question, greystones is MMDs and some parts analogue, so if u have a DVB C box, it aint gonna work, you may need a DVB T variant box
Or you may find that it is still only analogue. They were supposed to upgrade it a while back but guess you are still waiting.

DVB T will only work on MMDS. If you have a subbed box, (box supplied by the CC), read the sticker underneath and if it says ITD then you are MMDS, although remember I did say you may still be analogue.
Hi Mickah/ScOuser I have tried everything but no joy-----will have to wait for area to be digital. Went into manual scan and added new numbers as suggested---no joy. Can you tell me what the symbol rate is when you go into manual scan as i might have accidentally touched this---is it 7887?
