this is my first time on another forum other then psp forums i have both ds and psp.But i looked around and no1 made a thread about this great game! although i dont have it yet i reserved it but EB gaes doesnt get it for a couple hours.im so inpatient cuz on the offical website it says 8.28.06 but today is the 29!they say it comes out tommorrow.and to hold off my inpatientness i started playing naruto psp which calms me always. well anyone gonna get this game today? i will now edit this pros and cons(lol almost like a review) ok my first review EVER!lol ok here goes first pros rating:8 wifi compatible:this is great for starfox fans you can battle against other players!theres also a win/lose bar to record your status.Its like any other wifi game like mariokart,animal crossing,lost magic,tonyhawk sk8teland,tetris,and metroid prime.anyways nintendo makes it look easy in trailers but its harder then any other wifi game................hehe rating:10 characters:the characters in this game are more then the ordinary 4 wheter its with peppy or crystal,this game has more to offer!At first u start with 4 fox,falco,slippy and crystal but once u get through levels youll get new characters and start to wonder colud this game have a total of 14 charaters!but peppy is the last and hardest to unlock of all. rating:7 controls:everyone thought this game is wifi and itll be easy like any other starfox game ill always win in wifi,just dodge the lasers!WRONG!starfox command forces u to use a stylus(which is fine for me it just makes it more challeging)so get ready to learn how to dominate if ur god with a stylus.Don't use a thumb strap itll be hard to touch the bombs and to move,buy a pack of designed stylus's but if u use a thumb strap,even ur finger is better then that! rating:8 story:i dont know bout the story but based on everything it will be alot longer then starfox:assalt.it should be at least a good 8.i dont have much to share bout this though rating:9 graphics/spaceships:well the graphics is really good along with the spaceships shown so far falco's looks the best to me(sky claw)fox is really cool and u can upgrade it!(arwing II)crystal is not bad but those 2 r better.the graphics are like starfox 64 but more enhanced. Cons:Controls:guys dont lke the stylus cuz of the stylus forced to be used well then dont buy it it was made to be a challenge so it wont be easy like metroid prime.The only other thing that is not at its best is wifi that it doesnt have texting to other players or voiceing and this i really agree on u only can use fox,im sorry but i agree with the wifi thing but not the stylus thing. overall:9 ok im done finally but i gotta kill a good 5 and half hours!
i GOT it!right before they closed up because of the hurrincne thats coming in a few hours!its way better then my review this is a must have the stylus isnt bad as they say it is,its part action part stradegy cz u gotta draw routes and lure enimes back!

Yeah, I just got back from gamestop, I got the new starfox. I havnt played it yet but by tonight i will be playing it. I'm hopen this will replace Advance Wars, I cant seem to stop playing it.

^just a note.. share friend codes via PM only - not in the forums. pretty big problem with friend codes and when children have access to a computer (not calling you a child by any means.. just saying)

Well i put a good two hours into it and im thinking that any game on the ds that has to be played with the touch screen is not for me. I like the touch screen for easy menus, but trying to play a game with the stylus is tedious just like playing a game on a pc with a mouse. I think that if i were yunger and played games to pass time i would like it, but im playing games to relax and useing a stylus just doesnt make me feel like i can put my feet up and get comfortable with a good game. I played metroid and that didnt seem right so i thought that it was the game and now im almost positive that any game that is stylus driven is not for me and from now on with the ds im going to do my reserch on games to make sure that its a normal D-pad driven game.
I just got the game. Its great. Im a few misssions in. Havn't tryed online yet though I will pretty soon.
Yea, so far I like it, but the stylus is definitely tedius. Its like you have to rapidly keep drawing up or down for a sharp turn, and for me, unless i wipe out the enemies in the 1st pass, it takes a lot of time to catch them again. I think this would be a 10 all around if you could at least use the D-pad as an option. Even making the stylus more sensitve would be a big improvement. Metroid isn't really so bad though with the stylus, it fits better in that than it does in this to be honest. It keeps feeling like they're trying to duplicate the N64 middle analogue with the stylus sometimes...
Not to be flippant, but just in case I'm misunderstanding, is this thread based on a review for a game that the author, at the time of writing said review, didn't even own and, from all indications, hadn't even played? If so, though the author's enthusiasm is appreciated that does create a bit of a predicament. Either way, sorry to intrude, just wondering about some of the informaton presented here as I am very interested in this game.
