    Hi,
My system keeps crashing and an error check has said its to do with one of the drivers i have been advised to start from scratch but as my comp is a miss match of components from different companies (the guy who built it has moved away) i dont have a system reboot disk/recovery disk to empty the system. I have tried to restore system to previous state but this has not helped. Does anyone know of a universal recovery disk that can be used on all types of system?
    regards

Easy enough. Your gonna have to a wipe an install. Just go over to www.newegg.com and buy a copy of windows xp home with sp2. It should contain m,ost of the drivers you need for your comp. If not go to the manufacters site and download the latest drivers you need...ie sound...graphics...that windows doesnt have. Only thing you can really do.

    Hi,
Thanks for gettin back. I'm using XP. The problem of my system crashin has reduced now that I uninstalled then reinstalled my version of DVD decrypter. It mostly crashed when I used this program.
