Hi. I have just started to make my new website. I want my viewers to be able to make an account on my website like they do on every other site - create a username and password so only they can log in with these credentials. I also want to do this because I wish to recruit staff members so they can work on only their specified area I have assigned them to occupy and no-where else. I have been hearing about this MySQL database thing, does this have anything to do with it? Please if anyone knows anything it would be great. Thankyou

yes, so only they can have access to post on forums etc, not just anyone. Also, to be on a mailing list and for recruited staff to be able to edit only certain areas assigned to them, or something similar. Any ideas? Much appreciated...
