starv**w flash failed

    hi guys im trying to flash a friends starv**w.its an original.the flash failed.so i pluged it into my tv.problem is someone else has put the box software on it.on screen it says the box.is there anyway i can get in to it to delete the firmware so i can flash it with the right firmware or is it dead.
