Hi there guys i have the Starview 1 box and i have flashed it with the starview 2 firmware! and it doesnt even turn on now! any ideas on what i can do please???

ok no worries i really appreciate your quick help! it sometimes turns on and it says "ON" the starview screen at the front of the box, but then it switches back off, so my pc says nothing connected because i cant put it on stand by!, il check the bad flash guide, i also heard there isnt a starview 1 flashed released yet is that true???
I did the same to my box (I think I had a blonde moment)but I managed to put the old firmware back on it. I had to turn the box off, press download on the computer and then turn my box back on. I had to do this several times before it started to download but it worked!! You only get the dashes on the box as its downloading too it won't count down the percentage!!

just to give an update back! its flashing back as we speak!the on and off method worked!lol thank you, now i gotta wait for a proper starview 1 firmware and not mix and match!lol, how come the mods arent creating one for this box? i thought it was quite popular>???
Can someone kindly tell me if there is going to be a fix for the Starpooh 1 Clone? I can't afford to buy another box what with Christmas round the corner. You'd think the engineers could've been a bit more leniant what with the credit crunch and it being the season of good willy!
Afraid that you may be out of luck, there is none for the genuine Starview 1 yet, and as for the clone I doubt that you will get anymore, but hey, never say never.
Sure! Never, say never again... surely the guys behind the sale of these boxes have a conscience and will dig into their techno wit to keep the brothers happy! It seems to me a perversity that the latest models get the most attention when the loyal initiates wait behind... flea bay have stopped flogging to the masses so the Murdoch police should take a chill pill now. - Move on as would the band of brothers, safely and with ease... then get it sorted! I want to watch Dorethy this Christmas!;-) xxx
You must be joking, got a conscience. why the hell did they sell the clones in the first place, get real they where in it to make a fast buck by selling cheaply made box's (imported) mainly, made with very inferior components. The fixes that have been released for the clones have always been a goodwill gesture, so please don't attribute the word conscience to them people, they sold and dissappeared, and firmware has been deliberately put out to kill the clones in the past. EDIT: They are still selling clones of the SV 2 and 3, believe it or not and I kid you not, so it's buyer beware!!.

I think it was MI5 (Murdoch's Intelligence .5 half wits) that put out the dodgy firmware, or competitors selling original boxes to start a war - and by taking the moral high ground sieze the market - or have I been watching too much of the ScFi channel ?(I guess not recently!) - Gosh you've got to have a sense of humour or the tube will blow!
