Starview 1 Genuine Box

    Hi,

    Hope someone can help me out.

    I ended up flashing my Starview box with the wrong software. I flashed it with [THE BOX UK 4.51ee] software when I should not have.

    Now when I switch on the cable box it seems to be frozen. On the screen it displays THE BOX in black writing and a white background.

    I connected it up to my PC to flash with the older software but the box freezes a couple of seconds after you turn it on. This doesnt allow you to flash the box and the flash fails.

    This is a genuine starview 1 box, is there anything I can do or is the box dead?

    You'll probably have to do a factory reset and then wait for the correct fireware - if one appears....

    put in the 4.00 firmwear then put in the crypstar firmwear
