can anyone help please i have got a starview 1 box, one of my mates tried to flash it with new hardware for me but now it won't work, it turns on i get the green dashes then briefly says on then powers off! does anyone know y this has happened and if it can be fixed? any help would be great, remember i am a beginner on these things and would like to try to fix it myself if possible. thanks

yes there is new firmware first check and see if you have a clone, 18 vents = clone 25 vents = genuine 13 vents = 1st generation vents are the slits on the top of the box from top to bottom left scart = Clone Right scart= Genuine then you wil need either( crypstar v1.4 core257 bin) for clones or (crypstar v1.4 genuine only) for genuine boxes these can be found in the starview folder- firmware folder in eamos library under my pic.
