hello there i got a starview 1. anytime i do the scanning it always fail. i don't know if i am the one doing something wrong. my cable provider is NTL. this belo is how i did the connection NTL cable to starview plug cable input. and starview cable output to TV. i have also connected the scart from starview to TV. i have flash the box with the latest clone auto fix. on the system information it said as below Api Ver: 2.57e-E Boot Ver: 7.0 16 Aug 2006 Is anyone out there can help please It would be much appreciate Thank you
do u have an aerial on roof mmds,or 15 standard channels with contract to ccs,and did u switch provider to show ur provider id
i got the aerial connection but didn't use for the setput. i setup the connection as written on my 1st thread. sorry i don't get what u mean by mmds and ccs. on installation menu i have selected NTL then select automatic scan don't know if that what u mean by switch provider to show ur provider id

Ok so you have your N*L pipe cable into the back of the Starvi*w "Cable Input" port and a coax cable going from Starvi*w Output to TV . Make sure you have the scart lead from Starvi*w "TV port" to your TV (AV1/AV2). Then try this method Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider N*L Automatic Scan Press OK ( Let it run through as you will see a good few transponders failing ) Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , Exit 3 times and tune into S*Y Sports and it should auto update for you
