I downloaded v.4.5 onto my starview box and when i turned the box on the screen with the box logo came up and froze on this screen when i tried to download other software onto the box it would not let me (it came up with flash update fail) can anyone help me get the box to its original settings or update it. Thanks
starview 1 and TheBox are two different boxes with totally different software ... if only people would learn to read and follow the guides they wouldn't be in such a mess Once again ... Make sure the sv is off, hook it up to the pc with the null modem cable Get the RIGHT file this time ... CryptStar-v14-GenuineOnly.zip and de-archive it. Start the flash procedure as before, count to 3 then switch on the sv IF you are lucky, it will re-flash it for you ... if not then try again
