I have recently got a starview box, I am not however able to tune in rte 1, 2, tv3 or tg4. I have tried manually tuning their frequency but there is no reception on this frequency. I am in dublin on the n*l network. Can anyone help?
You have the latest firmware on your box so it's not that,are you sure you scanned on the right frequency for those channels ? This is the frequency for them - 339500 (RTE One,two,TV 3 and TG4). If this is the one you've been manually scanning on then you may have to do a factory reset but kep trying a few more times on 339500.
i've tried 339500 a number of times in manual search, there seems to be no reception on that frequency. I have already tried a factory reset and reflashing the software but to no avail.
Tizz a strange one,are all your other channels working ok ? and how long have these rte 1,2 etc not been working ?
all channels except those on 339500 are working ie rte, biography and bravo. I only have the box a short while and haven't had these channels since I got the box.
That's very strange especially as you've scanned for them a few times and done a factory reset which should nearly always solve your problem especially one like this,try doing another reset and if it still doesn't do the trick I'd say it could be just a fault with that frequecy in your area.
