    Hi,

I got a brand new Starview 2 box about two weeks ago - no probs whatsoever in setting it up, everything worked perfectly. About a week ago the EPG disapperared (ie blank). I've switched off/on a few times and have re-scanned but no still EPG. I'm was about to hit Factory Settings when I found this forum.

    Any ideas much appreciated?

The EPG is not the best on the SV , you could flash the b0x with 4.50 as this is probally more stable and might make a slight difference in the EPG

Ok go into the menu and select 'user setup' then go into time setting and make sure 'Time Zone' is set to GMT +00.00,then make sure 'Current time' is set to AUTO and that 'Summer time' is OFF.
Exit back out of the menu and try the EPG if you had to make any changes .

    Folks,

Many thanks for the prompt replies, CO19 all settings are exactly as you stated already. Anything else to look at before I flash to version 4.5?

No they're the right settings for the EPG to work as best it can so it must be down to the firmware,as Celt said put ver 4.50 on it it's a better version than the one currently on your box.
