Hi, I have my Starview 2 almost a year now and found it great, apart from the EPG which is pretty poor. On occasions, the picture freezes for a second or two, sometimes with 'Bad or Scrambled Channel' displaying. This happens a couple of times a night, if not more. Is there anything I can do about this, or just live with it. Thanks
The EPG as never been good on the Starview, although it does improve as long as you have the correct time and leave it on a home channel for a while, but really best forget it and use a TV guide. As regards the freezing what firmware have you got on the box, V4.50 for Ireland and V4.51 for UK is most stable, also you could try a Factory Re-set and fresh Installation, (don't forget to turn Key Emu ON when finished), but it is not unusual to have a lttle bit of the problem as described.
