hi guys when my sv2 went down the other day i followed as guided and downloaded the firmware as directed everything was crisp and worked fine, now today took a friends box to do the same downloaded everything to the box as i did with mine.. it just kept updating going past 200 then pack to 0% when i connected it to the tv?? any suggestions left it on sly sports 1 to update but just done the same.
Where are you, if you are in Ireland then you have to find the correct channel to kickstart the updating - so try it on a Disney, Discovery even the God channel - turn box off and back on go into Cas System menu and press Set Default key. It is a case of trial and error to find the correct channel.
Yes it is a bit that way, seeing as you are doing it for a friend then why not check your own, and do a manual input, and test it with the Default key, exit out to sly 2,etc.
