i have the starview 2 the box with firmware v.802ee(the first fix) it works fine BUT do i have to update to v.4.55 or leave alone?
4.55 is for starview 2 the box. 8.02 is for starview 3 the box super. 4.57 was released for starview 2 and 8.04 was released for starview 3. so which box do you actually have?
just says THE BOX on top...i think its SV2..im getting all channels, successfully updated earlier today.so its working great. my Q again pls...Should i stick to what i got? cheers
well if its not broken..... Then on the other hand if you just want to test and post your results & thoughts for others proceed with the upgrade, you can always downgrade later
Merry Christmas you 2 while you're here have a good one. lol reply's at the same time, well in the same 60 seconds
v.802ee was the first fix brought out for sv2 the box in november/dec this year to fix the auto roll.wheather it was just a short term fix at the time i dont know but it does its job and well.i understand that starview super uses version 8,but the box went from v.4.54ee to 8.02ee and now i believe its v.4.55,but as stated if it works dont fix.
people there are 4 different models of starview read the label on front of unit to know what model u have and use that firmware only. its like fuel for cars putting wrong fuel can feck it up and u still have to read sticker on petrol flap and pump.
merry xmas to all the sad people looking for a quick fix and to people with the handcuffs on who always try and help.
