I am trying to flash a new starview box (The Box). All attempts have failed. When I turn on the box I get a green dash moving across the display from left to right then the right most LED shows a single dash. after this nothing. the TV just displays ' The Box' banner. The remote has no effect. Downloading returns the message 'Downloading failed' Any suggestions?
have you tried it a few times ? Are you in the UK or Ireland ? UK is 4.51 and Ireland is 4.50 Did you buy the cable or was it supplied ? A friend of mine bought SV2 (THE B0X) and was supplied with the cable , it worked out that it was the rs232 one and he couldnt flash it as it kept coming up failed , I tryed it with my NULL MODEM CABLE and it worked first time.
