Just new to this technology and have what maybe a daft question but thought I would ask it. The starview 2 "the box" looks good but can you use it without having satellite tv or cable tv previously. At the moment I only have a free view box which works using the normal tv aerial, does "the box" work like a freeview box??
Have you got a basic package from a provider like N*L etc ? If not then it wont work , you need a cable provider in order to scan for channels etc
Thanks for the reply, I haven't got any tv package just the freeview. Our street hasn't got cable and we haven't subscribed to satellite tv. Just thought it may work through the aerial like the freeview does. Cheers for answering though as it has saved me buying a box and not being able to work it.....
