starview 2 the box

hi there,

just wondering if anyone can help me with the software for this as my box has been of since december.i also have starview 3 theboxsuper and had this box up and running within 3 days but cant seem to get any software for thebox2 yet.

hi there,

went onto this link suggested and when on this link it went through normal procedure until asked to download. then instead of being able to run this and carry on downloading only option was find or save.tried both but it appaers it was in some kind of different format.hopefully you have a better idea than me.

hi again ,

sorry to be a pain in the arse .thats the furthest i have got.i got right to the stage where you finally send to the box and it comes up boot.but when i clicked download its percentage stayed on 0.tried all 4 serial ports.COM 1-4. still no joy.on theboxsuper 3 it does it on COM 2.Also left it for a bit to see if percentage moved each time it said flash failed with an option to retry.thanks for your help again hopefully i can get this resolved as this box has been going strong for 18 months until this.

For the sv2 you`ll need the 4.03 loader & the 4.57 firmware which karl gave you.
Click on eamos under my sig & open The B0x folder.
The loader & firmware are in there.

just thinking maybe its me being dumb but how do you go about getting both them on

 

Download the 4.03 loader & the 4.57 firmware onto your desktop.
You`ll need winrar to extract the files from the 4.57 folder.
Open the 4.03 loader & select bin file. Choose the 4.57 firmware & you should be sorted.
