starview 2 wont update

arite guys i downloaded the fix but when i load the gtrom v4.3 and sselect bin file it cant find it even tho ive got it saved to my documents???????

 

Save the BIN file to your desktop and see if you can find it then

i extracted both files on to my desktop the app file and bin file is that ryt???

 

ok its downloaded to the box now it even says december 2008 on the information but it didnt reboot itself ,so still no channels any idea noel f if ur out there lol??

 

is it just the bin file i need??

 

Press menu > 1570
Turn the key emu on & exit out to channels.

 

ok noel i got it workin there i flashed the bin file on to it,it says in system information 4th of december 2008 but the channels didnt come back straight away so i manually put in the codes and bobs ur uncle lol its workin,does this mean ive updated the firmware???? before i flashed it it used to say october 2007 but now its december 2008 4.55 version??????????????????

 

You shouldnt have to manually input the codes.
Change the keys in nagra to 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 etc & save it.
Exit out, & channels will then be scrambled.
Menu > 1570, make sure emu is on.
Go to Set Default Key & press ok.
Exit to s*y sports & if it updates, you`re sorted.

 

ok mate al try that,was i ment to hit the set default key then after i flashed it??

 

just about to go out mate so im gna give that a try and see what its like when i come back,after pressing default key should it say data is being updated?????

 

hi guys sv2 the box tried flashin just got greenflashin bars on it ive tried lataest fix 455e the best i end up with is just the logo of the box wen turned on sometimes nothin at all ive also tried 454 then logo ticked background data file then 802e ive tried bad flash guide complete nothin sometime bars are flashin and sometimes stops at one ive also tried old firmware same results jack shit any help wud be great ive done quite a few this week this is the only 1 givin me jib if i do get it to download just flashing lines on box and it says downloaded completly im gonna do a scouser with it on youtube lol

 

allso wen box is put in by scart lead box image on tv b4 i put telepest cable for signal if it helps thanx in advance as im goin to bed cos reckon my fxxxen head

Hi Guys
I have flashed my Starview 2 (The Box) and now it is just displaying the message ON.
If I turn off th ebox it displays the time and when I switch it back on it just says "ON" and a black screen!
Any ideas please I would be very grateful.

I tried that but now I have a green screen and still the box says "ON".
Do I need to install the fix now after I did the logo?
Sorry if I sound like a retard but usually I just flash it and its done.....its never been this complicated before!

 

In fact now not only do I have a green screen the box is just froze with the word "ON". I cant even turn it on standby only off using the power switch on the back.
When I switch the power on there green dashes flash for a couple of seconds and then it says "ON".
I have tried to flash the firmware on again but it just says "Flash Update Fail" every time and nothing happens on thebox just the word "ON"
Any ideas guys would be very helpful.
