    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the starview 2 box will work on chorus or magnet networks. I seem to remember on the old starview box there was an option to scan the chorus network but on the new box i have it doesnt give me this option. Maybe i have an old version of software that was flashed onto the box and the option is missing from it................... Anyone any ideas and also if it will work on Magnet??

The Starview 2 called "The Box" will work on the Ch**** network using version 4.5 firmware in Ireland. Regards Magn** I think they use IPTV and the box will not work on their network.

OK all the firmware/software you need to upgrade "The Box" is in the link at the end of my post, marked Eamos FTA Library.

    1. Download GTromloader, found in Starview Software Folder.
    2. Download Version 4.5 firmware, (Ireland), found in The Box Firmware folder.

You will need a null modem cable similar to this one:

This is only for reference as they can be purchased much cheaper on fleabay.

No this is the true cable version. As I said the new MMDS box will be out soon.
