starview 2

hi all
never got my starview 2 fixed
still getting bad channel message
have re flashed etc and key emu is on

not downloading new software like before
got a call last night from a mate with same problem in dublin

anyone solve this problem before
surely there is a way to fix it

 

most of the time its a bad signal from the cable co

 

i am sure its not the signal
because i have another starview 2
and it works perfectly

 

yeah but have you the signal split?

 

no signal is not split
one works fine
the other when i scan i get 187 channels
but for all i get bad channel messages

 

what did you reflash with?

 

well if its flashed, press menu, press default EMU on and go to sky spots it should update if not turn box off for a minute and repeat!!!

i have reflashed with 451eE 450eE 454eE tried a few nothinghas worked
and have tryed with emu on leave on sky sports but it doesnt download
like before
every other problem i have had that has worked
but not with this
no matter what i have tryed i still get
bad channel

 

did you do a factory reset before scanning??

 

yes i did
am clueless at this stage
i seem to have tried everything

 

when you scan does the box find any channel's?

 

yeah it finds about 180 channels
which is normal

 

hello guys, plz can anybody help me purchase a remote control, my son damage the previous one. i can't find it online and i'm desperate coz can't watch anything without the remote.
i'm a ex cw user and my box is FTA 101 DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER.

you seem to no what your doing so need to ask about connections ie coaxil into cable input and scart into tv scart on the box is there?
