Hey guys , while we are still in discussion about starview 3 , wondering if anyone knows why my starview 3 box turns key emu off after a few days , then i need to rescan for all chans and turn it back on? its very irritating , is there anyway to stop it from happening guys?
Hey mate , i am using 7.09 Beta. its actually my girlfriends box , but she ain't very good with this stuff , its new to her. i have the older starview box which works a treat. but ever since she has had the box , it keeps turning key emu off by itself. and she needs to always scan again.
Shouldnt turn key emu off unless you do a factory reset or it can happen when you power down the box. Have you tried a factory reset, then turn off the box and reflash, (you could try other firmwares, e.g. V8.00 or V6.01). After reflash, scan on your provider and turn key emu back on. BTW you don't need to scan again after key emu is turned off, you just turn it back on.
hi guys is the gtrom -super-8.00 now being used instead of the 7.09 beta or does it matter which of the 2 is being used thanks in advance.
Doesn't matter really it is what you prefer, whichever work best for you - the 7.09 came out after the 8.0 but 7.09 is usually preferred in Ireland. Edit - If you have an older type Starview 3 then you might even find that an earlier version is better.
