hi bought a sv 3 about 3 weeks ago , it auto rolls, an works fine,,, but the i think it has the wrong channel file in , my bbc1-5 are wrong for my region,,,, comes up with ulster tv for stv , and there r loads of bad channels,,,,, it wont let me change them , in the channel edit page... does anyone have the right channels file for glasgow scotland,,, thanks
If you do a factory setting and re-scan , you will get the right channels for your provider and area Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit
hi there celtic71,, sorry for late reply,,,, i tried the rescan ,, am afraid , it didnt work... i think the problem lies with the channel sorting file,, it automatically puts in bbc 1 england,,bbc2w,,ulster tv,,channel 4 audio,, channel 5 audio descriptive,,, as my 101-105 channels.. i also have the regional channels, that i am looking to have in 101-105 section.. i can select and edit move the channel i am wanting,, but it wont let me put in as 101 etc.. any help is much appreciated
yes i did factory reset b4 rescanning.. just came back on the same.. probelm seems to lie with the automatic channel sorting.... it puts the wrong regional terrestrial channels in,,,,,,but when itry to channel edit them,, it wont let me put them in with the predetermined list,,, so atthe moment i am have just put them in a favourite list.... but still really want to get them in the channel list so i can press 101 and get bbc scotland...... be very grateful for any ideas..
try this Press Menu > Channel Edit > 0000 > Press YELLOW button to EDIT > Highlight the channel you want to move > Press the RED button to MOVE > Use your \/ /\ arrows to move it where you want and press OK Repeat till you have them sorted in the order you like When your finished , press EXIT and it will save them for you
hi there celtic71,,,,, i have tried that procedure a few times..... i can do it and move them around when its on the ALL CHANNELS page, but , i cant select bbc 1 scotland and make it 101,, ie put it into the entertainment section. even tried deleting all the bbc 1 channels except the bbc 1 scotland , to try and force the box to put bbc 1 scotland in the predetermined list but it wont do that either , just seem to be deleting channels forever , and when u think u have deleted them all , then it seems to find more regional channnels that i dont want in there
