hi all just got a starview 3 not a clone when plugged in i set language TO english im in uk and then changed to n@l and did an automatic scan found channels but most of then have a green doller sign next to them and wont open it says scrambled channel how do i sort this please make it simple as i dont have a clue what to do THE BOX SUPER API VER 7.08E BOOT VER 8.0 18 APRIL 2008 PLEASE HELP
you will need to update your box as thats free to air firmware,all the help you'll need is in the starview link under my pic
Well first of all you have only got the FTA firmware on so you will not be able to unscramble them, it needs to be flashed. So if you click on the link maked Eurovox it will show you what lead you will need (NULL MODEM), it is Exactly the same procedure so have a look. Then click on the link marked Starview and you will get all the instructions for updating your box with firmware there, the firmware for your box is an all in one (Loader and Firmware combined) v7.09 for Ireland and v8.00 for the UK, and can be found in Eamo's FTA Library. sorry guys so i will need to download the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link. then version 7.09 firmw@re for THE SUPR B0X found in "THE B0X SUPR" firmw@re folder. (UFL = Unified Firmware Loader) is that right i dont want to mess this up or lass would kill me lol
do i click on eamos library then the box super all in one firmware and download GTRom_Super_709eBETA.rar sorry to be a pain
i have done the update and now it says the box super api ver 7.09e boot ver 8.0 17 jun 2008 also turned emu on and still i can only get fta channels i also have left on sky spots and it say up dating but it never moves of 0 % any help would be grateful thanks
