Hi folks, Long time reader, 1st time poster I recently set up a SV3 in place of my Sly box and was hoping to control the box by means of IR Blaster (like magic eye) or similar. I use MCE (Which is in the attic) in my main room and i use the MS IR Blaster to change the channels, which works wihout issue. My plan was to use my magic eyes to control the SV3 box via my bedroom by means of injecting power into the Antiferance magic eye splitter. Before i waste my time/money, does anyone know (Sc0user does i bet) if this will work? If not has anyone any other suggestions? Due to my complex lay out, putting a SV box in the bedroom is not an option as i have the TV counter sunk into the wall and i think a box on the floor would look sh*t Thanks in advance! Muz
Thanks for the response cactikid. Surely someone must have come up with a solution for this? I found this: http://www.irblaster.info/ Maybe i'll give it a shot and see what happens. I should actually be able to make this myself so if i get one, ill dismantle it and see if i can replicate it. Thanks Muz
So nobody has a thought on this? I found an RF converter that i had knocking around so i can view the SV3 box in my bedroom but not being able to change the channels is a pain in the a**! Any suggestions welcome Muz
