    Hi, can anybody help me?
I have just bought a Starview 3 - The Box Super.
When I hooked it up and scanned for channels it found 305. I downloaded GTRom 6.01e and used it to install the firmware. Then when I scanned for channels again it couldn't find any channels, so I tried scanning using different service providers but still nothing. I don't understand it as I have another starview 3 which I tried using the same connection with no problem.
Does anyone know what the problem is please

    Tried it.
    Worked a charm.
    Thank you.
For any noobs (like me)who are having the same problem, I found a lot of useful advice throughout these forums and thought I would put together these instruction on how to flash your starview 3 including a link to download GTRom loader + 7.05 firmware which was posted and I think upped by scOuser
1st click on the above link for the download
    2nd follow these instructions
    1)Plug Starview box into mains
2)Put on standby (the display on the box should show the time)
3)Plug the com cable into the back of the box and the other end of the cable into your PC
    3)Open GTRom loader
4)Click on the download button on GTRom. You will see it downloading
5)Do not disconnect from PC until you see a message that says "download Successful." the box will now reboot
Once you have disconnected from the PC and connected it to your TV you will need to
1)Select English then select Factory Settings
2)Input PIN 0000 then select OK to delete
3)Turn the box off at the back for a minute
4)When you turn the box back on you need to select English again then select Installation
5)Now choose your service provider and select automatic scan
6)Once the scan is complete and it tells you how many channels found press Exit
7)At the menu press buttons 1570 to enter hidden menu
8)Go down to EMU and turn on, then just press Exit,Exit and Exit again and your done.
    Thank you again Afterdawn
