Starview 3- not able to set it up

I got my starview 3 today and tried setting it up.I installed all channels and then tried menu and 1570 and menu and 2004 and no secret emu on/off bar comes up on the screen?What do I do guys?

 

all boxes sold are freeview only no access to emu until firmware is updated.

Thanks for that.I tried doing it last night on my friends computer but it wouldn't load and I don't think the box was registering?It said port 1, 2 , 3?It's not that easy.Could u give me an exact and hopefully easy way to do it?I was so excited when I got my box?Would any of u guys do it for me and I'll meet up and pay u?

 

there is no need to come about throwin money away lol
its easily done you just have to change your com ports to find the right one your connected to and make sure you have all the cables ness for the job

How do you know when ur box is on stand by and what should the display say?

 

if on stand by should display the time

As I have said to numerous people, there are major issues with Vista, can you get hold of a PC with XP its so much easier!!

 

I have lost all the programmes and now none will appear when I install?What is the story there?

 

If you listen to the lads you`ll be sorted.
As karl said, the firmw@re for the SV3 is a unified loader (you dont need GTRom).

Des has told you to try xp as sometimes people have trouble with vista when trying to flash boxes.
