Which one is the better of them, ive got a starview 2 THE BOX, and are quite happy with it, but a friend is thinking about having the starview 3. Is there any difference between them performance wise and does the starview 3 find the new codes like the starview 2?. Would love some feedback about it, thanks

I own both an original starview and a kryptview and when comparing them, I rate the kryptview more than the sv

It scans for new channels when put in standby and it puts any new channels found in it's list automatically.
The EPG works unlike the sv's!
The Kryptview never has issues when it comes to all this key rolls business.
It uses standard Sky/NTL/etc channel numbers.

Okay, the sv is easier to set-up but when faced with all the recent events with the key rolls? Have fun entering those keys twice daily >)

I've already ordered another Kryptview and dumping the sv ... it's time is past IMHO.
