Starview 3 The Box Super - Channel names

Just got the SV3 The Box Super

All is working, Im getting all the channels.

But 90% of them show as Numbers rather than names, is there anyway to arrange them to the catagories and rename them other than one by one using the remote ??

theres only a dublin n@l channel dump in eamo's library,you could always try a factory reset and a rescan if you want the only other way would be to use the remote to rename the channels.

 

Actually my friend has a box and I borrowed it about a month ago to see if they worked before buying, his channels are all listed and sorted, couldnt I DL his channel bin file ?

 

yeah if he's on ch@rus in your area,you can do a box to box transfer

 

He is local to me, with the same provider and its the same box.

 

menu-user set up -s/w transfer,connect both boxes with a null modem cable turn your box(slave) away from the remote and transfer form your mates(master) using the remote.

 

BTW Ive tried that dublin dump, its the same story, no names etc..

If I get his and it works, ill upload the bin file and share it.

nah that wont work on ch@rus,thats what i meant by there's only a dublin one,that would be great if it works for you, cheers.
