New to this kind of stuff guys, so please excuse the naivety at times. i have a couple of questions/ problems which i could do with a bit of help with. System information: THE BOX Super API Ver: 8.00e_E Boot Ver: 8.0 20 Jun 2008 When i got my box, i simply plugged it and and it worked straight away. anyway, i was messing around with the settings trying to get rid of the annoying overvoice that ive noticed occurs on various channels and with doing that it lead to me restoring factory settings. Obviously that has now served its purpose and cleared my channels. now when i go to re-add the channels, i select my cable provider (Virgin Media). I guess here i use NTL option, then select automatic scanning, and the majority of the scans fail with only a few coming back saying ok. At the end it says 451 programs found. then when i come out of the menus, the only channels that work are basically the ones u get on freeview. the BBCs, ITVs etc with all of the other channels having a dollar symbol on the channel title bar. What is confusing me is prior to this reset, i never had these and every channel including skysports and setanta worked fine. So my first question is, how do i reclaim all of the other channels and get rid of that dollar sign. and obviously, my second question is how the devil do you get rid of that hideous commentry/overvoice person! Ok try this : Menu, Installation,Auto scan...change the NTL back to Virgin, if these are your provider and scan, when finnished exit back turn EMU on and go to sly sports and it should work that way The sound problem... press audio on the remote, you will see : R ENG L just delete one of those when watching that particular programme!!
