starview 3 the box super

    hi all, just got my "starview 3 the box super"

    APIver: 708e
    boot ver: 8.0
    18 apr 2008.

    most channels appear as bad or unscrambled, do I need to change the firmware or something?

    I am on telewest / virgin in the uk

    Cheers guys, I downloaded the GTRom_Super_705e updated the firmware on the box, then went into parental control and enterd 2004, the extra menus came up, chose negravision, and selected set default key.

    Worked a treat, and thanks to the guy who hosted the firmware so I could download it as well.

    hello again i got the starview 3 the box super got all the files i need. but my computerusb device not recognized by windows what do i do hope some1 cann help i've been at it all weekend pls pls have a answer

    You will need to get your USB adaptor assigned to the correct COMM port, have a look at the guide here >>>>>>>>>>

    There is a known conflict with Win Vista, so if you are using that OS then try a friend, better still try and find some you know that has a standalone PC with the correct serial port if possible, make life a lot easier for you in flashing the box, good luck.
