Starview 3*the super problem.

Hey,i bough a sv4 recently and it was working fine up until aobut two days ago,i rang the guy i bought it off and he told me about the menu 1570 emu idea,i tried that and all works up until the 'updating' screen.. it gets frozen on 0%, i ve tried reset factory settings,man auto scanning,everything,keeps freezing at 0%.. please wb with any help thanks

 

try it on the Discovery channel, and see if it moves at all, failng that try turning box off for a minute and on again what happens?

There is also new firmware for Starview 4 USB in Eamo's Library v1.06 beta, as of tonight, courtesy scOuser and all the usual guru's.

 

I will try theese tips thanks,how do i put theese updates onto it?? Im not the best with theese things thanks

If you are referring to the Starview 4 USB? then you are better going to Eamo's FTA Library and having a look at the Folder marked The Box Super USB, you will find some information there, but basically as follows :-

First go into Eamo's FTA Library and download the .rar file to your Desktop, and unzip with Winrar, then drag The Box Super bin file to your USB memory stick.
Put the USB stick in the USB port on the back of the box.
Press Menu on remote, you`ll see USB at the bottom of the screen.
Highlight USB with the remote and you`ll see (Box Super USB) bin file appear on the screen.
Highlight the box super USB bin file with the remote and press OK.
The file will now start to load onto the box

Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of post, and the 1.06 is for the UK only

Well if there isn't then it is not The Starview 4 The Box Super USB, you said at the top that you had got one? What box do you want help with then!!!!!! and then we may be able to get somewhere.


EDIT:- Just noticed that you had reposted that you had the 3, appoligies we must have crossed, because it was not there when I was composing, and time out too.

 

Seeing that is is a Starview 3 The Box Super, (is that correct) Then when did you get the box and where are you located UK or Ireland.

 

I got it about 2 or 3 weeks ago and im from Dublin Ireland

just before i go for the dinner try this, if no luck i will give you a hand later!!

Here is what you need to do if your still getting the updating % message:

Compliments of Noelyf (the genius)

Menu > 1570
Turn emu off & exit to channels, (wait till you see scrambled or bad channel)
Menu > 1570
Go to Set default key > press ok
Turn emu ON
Exit to s*y Two & it should update.

Yea i saw that too and fined two weeks wages,supposedly bayern munich are interested in him,people say strachan wont sell cause he is the star player,but if you think,if he was that important,would he suspend him for a vv important old firm derby? Who knows lol...Thanks again mat..
