Hi, I've just received the the box 3 (super box) and I followed the instructions but I receive zero channels. I live in Dublin and am on Ch**us Digital (true cable). My understanding of this box was that it updated the codes automatically or do I need to input them? I've had a look at eamo's library and am just wondering do I just install one of the these? Make sure your Chor*s cable is in the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w You will need version 6.1 firmw@re for THE SUPR B0X found in "THE B0X SUPR" firmw@re folder. Hey thanks for the reply, I followed your instructions and went to eamo's library, got the relevant all in one firma@re loader (6.01e The BoxSuper). I tried to download to the box but i get an error message saying; can't open serial port Last Error : The system cannot find the file specified I checked my device manager and it's COM 1 through which I'm connected. I have downloaded the firmw@re a number of times thinking it's not loaded correctly. The only difference I have from firmw@re updating tutorial is that when I have App File Only marked I do not have an option to bin the file. Am I missing something? The null modem I am using is http://www.alvio.com/xABK_PID29903_F3B052_10_INTERLINKLAPLINK_DB9DB9_DB9FDB9M;SERIAL;_10.aspx The lad in the shop told me this is what I need. Any help in sorting this would be great, Thanks Sorry throwing in another comment but got it flashed of my laptop to 6.01e. Doesn't receive the channels yet but seems to almost find them!?! Anyway seems theres a good few threads on starview 3 and no channels so i'll check them for answers. Almost there I hope!
Hey, I can't seem to receive any channels. It's flashed in correctly with version 6.01e for ch**us digital in Dublin but it gives me zero channels. I ran the numbers for manual scanning that was posted above but even though it calls up level approx 50% and quality 99% no programs were found. I have also tried a factory re-set with no joy. Any ideas? Thanks
