    HI all,

Firstly I have searched through the forums looking for answer - no joy.

I have been using the starview 3 for a month or so now. Came home today to see "no unput signal" on the screen. I reset; re-scanned; i found 44 channels or so; i rescanned again; all the channels came back but the picture was jitty (i had turned on emu already). i rescanned again, and now I have "0 channels found" no matter how many times i try!!. havent done manual scan - not sue if chor*s have changed the frequencies.

    Details:

    Cho*us Cable
    Starview 3 Genuine
    Api version 8.00e_E
    location malahide

Anyone got any ideas!!, if i cant get this working i'll have to talk to the missus :/ HELPPPPPPPPPP

    Thanks in advance!

Factory reset, scan again and turn key emu back on. Make sure you do it from the direct feed, i.e. no splitter.

Thats a cable or splitter problem by the looks of things, if it was working fine for a while. Are you scanning from where the cable enters the house?

If you are and the coax RF connector looks OK, try reflashing with 7.09.

the Rf feed is split (1 input - 2 output) at junction box outside (by cho*us) the gaff.

I have a direct feed from the junction box in the house to the back of the starview 3!.

I rescanned again found 49 stations giving me the same names as before with "no signal" after turning on emu.

could it be that the frequencies have changed and that it is not scanning at the lower range?

Frequencies haven't changed unless you have been away for months :) Factory reset and rescan would pick up missing TPs. Your symptoms are indicative of a weak signal caused by a loose connection. Check the splitter outside, (bit dark for that now).

After proving all connections and you still have the same problems try 7.09. After that they have moved your cab point and you may need a booster.

Havent doengraded to 7.09, it appears to be a signal problem!
