starview 4.00v freezing

    hi guys having slight problems genuine starview box in telewest area flashed box with 4.00v but theres a slight freeze on chanals last for about 3 sec any ideas

    Might be a bad flash, I would say you had version 3, before you flashed to version 4, am I correct?

    yes iwas running version 2.58 first then went to 3.00v then back to 2.58v then when version 4.00v cameout i used that just flashing the box not resetting for all the versions hope this helps

    Press menu and system info and tell me what is says.

    May be a bad flash, and it has kept some of the bad traits of version 3, (channels freezing).

    Please go to the link at the end of my post marked Eamos Library. In the Starview section you will find a Starview PDF Guide. Go to page 6 of the guide first and then back to page 1.

    I would say this will solve your problem, as you have flashed many times without a factory reset, thing may have not been properly cleared.
