starview 4 bin file how to open

Hi There

Is there anyone out there that can help me please?
I've downloaded a bin file for the strview 4 usb (firmware)I can not open this file. It looks to want windows shell common, but I can not find this.

 

you dont need to open it just drag the file on to a usb stick and put the usb into the back of your sv4

thanks for that, I just put the usb stick into the back of my sv4, and will the box detect this and activate it? do I still need to connect the null modem cable?

no null for usb just onto usb stick then into box and into usb on tv screen and into code update press ok then data retore press yes

 

you may need to press ok on english first to see usb option
