The printed instructions advised to download a particular bin file from a website and to copy to a USB memory stick. Starview 4 has a convenient USB slot. After following detailed installation instructions, the software appears to load onto the box, but then the TV screen goes black. Nothing seems to get rid of the black screen after that. Has anyone any ideas?
Hi LMF, see post- posted by me, I followed Noleyf's instructions which worked a treat! Only thing I am having trouble with is the SORT, and DELETE are greyed out- going to put a post up about this now. Alan
Thank you to both a.l.a.n. and noelyf for your replies. Unfortunately nothing works now on my Starview 4 box, so I don't know how I could install other software. The code 8882 is permanently displayed on the box, the TV screen is completely blank and the only thing that functions on the box is the on/off switch. Another thread,http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/704579, would seem to suggest that the box is now toast. This is my replacement box from the same supplier, as the same thing happened to my first one on 26/11. If I have used any of the wrong terms, I apologise. I am probably one of the last people on the planet to purchase a box.

Hi, I put 1.07 on The B*x Super USB and then tried to install that logo file. It's just stuck on 100% now and nothing else is happening. Can anyone help?
There is no need to put the logo file on the box all you need to put on the box is the V1.07 file and nothing more if your box is displaying 8882 on the front of the box display there is no way back for the box only to send it back to the supplier to be fixed
I don't know what was wrong with it. When I plugged it in the next day it was working. What was the logo software for anyway?
My friends box (The Box Super USB) is not picking up some channels but mine has all the channels. The same software is on both boxes. Any idea how to get the channels working on my friends one? It says no signal on the channels that aren't working.
Factory reset and scan again but make sure they carry out the initial scan from the direct feed, i.e. make sure there is no splitter in use.
