starview 4 usb error 8882

I have a starview 4 with this error showing on the front of it and wont start up been told it needs to be repaired anyone know how to get this done and what its gunna cost and is it better to buy a new box ?

Same happened to me last week. This is easily fixed. Cost approx £15. There are earlier posts explaining how to solve this.

 

yes cheers mate just been given a link for a kit to repair it.

Did you get error 8882?? If so could you send me the link?? Is it hard to fix?

i get the same prob....
this might help,if help you cant be bothered to spend..

1)replace plug
2)plug in different wall socket
3)just reflash

iv had boxes that have 8882 error on screen ,but they work nevertheless..its worth a try...
