I'm in N.I. with Vee Em as my supplier and after reading about the newest firmware upgrade for the The Box - Starview 4 usb super and have loaded it with starview 4 usb v1.12 firmware onto my genuine box and rebooted. Everything seems to work well EXCEPT for the EPG, which I've tried to update a number of times without success i.e. I've no longer got an EPG listing?! Am I doing something wrong that the EPG will not upload when try to do it manaully? Will it appear when Vee Em do its automatic nightly roll-out or do I need to go into the settings and select the default key settin to get the EPG running again. OR should I revert back to starview 4 usb v1.07 firmware and try to restore the EPG from there?? Advice appreciated....
can anyone point me to an updated channel list for Virgin media? i have about 10 of some channels (BBC1 ITV)
The epg is useless on 1.12. Use 1.07 instead. (Assuming you're in the Uk and 100% sure that your box is genuine? If you're not 100% sure stick with 1.12.)
