ive just bought a super usb,have read through many threads but theres not alot of info yet, the software is a bin file, what i want to know is, is this the only file i need to put on my memory stick? its v1.01 beta.

Isn't there help files in there to.

 

they dont tell you whether to use both or just the one.

havn't got one myself just pointing you in the right direction.

 

karl sv4 has scanning problems in irl with no channels found ,new firmware coming soon to a box near u .lol

 

just updating you karl,all went well last night just in time for the ryder cup =)

 

There is only a issue with scanning on Chorus in leinster area, this doesnt effect nthell true cable areas

 

Latest firmware version 1.02 is in Eamos. Still problems with Ch**us Mick? Got my "test" box also how is your one working out?

 

I can confirm that the Chor** problem is short lived and is been sorted and new firmware is to be released within the next couple of days

And the box will be fully operational in all areas of Ireland on cable only not for MMDS in the outlying Cho*** areas which use dvb-t boxes

 

Always seems to be the same problem in your area Ferg, new box new problem Works fine as you said for N** Dublin. Have you tried the later firmware 1.02 and is there any difference to 1.01.

I have 1.02 on my one and all is fine but I dont know if 1.02 has done anything for you?

Well hopefully it will be sorted soon Ferg. It shouldn't take that much to be honest. Only glitch I see on my one is record sometimes doesn't initiate, but a reboot solves this. This is also been looked at.

Hopefully timer will come on the none Beta version. All in all quite a nice box, in those areas it works in Categories are nice and EPG is fine although 3 days still. The new subbed boxes have 7 days, so maybe something like an EPG filter could be incorporated as a stop gap?

As far as I am aware you should be on the upgrade path Ferg and hopefully come into line with other U*C cable areas this year, but thats not a promise

 

yep i have a box here now which i did test in other areas which i have to say works 100%

so hopefully is can and will be sorted

also the clone starview 1 now au in this area as well which it never done before

so yes they are slowly pulling it in to line all right
