    Can any one help...
ive just got a starview 5 box with sw version 2.04.mp, i cant get all the channels. tried to get to the secret menu with buttons 1570 but nothing happens. scanned the box on ntl then did factory reset, then tried 1570 but nothing happened.
Do i need a memory stick with the firmware on for it to work ....maybe..

Down load firmware 2.03 then load via usb. You should then be able to access hidden menu

thanx for replying. i have tried to download the firmware off the 4shared site, but having problems getting it to open up , just says the selected file 'bin' it not recognised. can you suggest a program that might open it. it keeps trying to open it through windows media player.
i have tried to just drag it to a folder but it says its been denied. i need to get a usb memory stick, so have not tried to drag it straight to that yet. sorry im such a pain...... this is for my dads box, i have the older box super that uses the GTRom downloader that seemed easier to to do......
