starview auto scan not finding any channels

just got my starview box 2day and i have set it up but when i do the auto scan it keeps saying 0 channels found can anyone help me

 

Make sure you have your incoming cable plugged into "Cable Input" and try again

 

Have you plugged it into the cable in socket. What firmware is on it, press menu and system info and post what it says. I also assume you have a live digital cable feed.

4.51 is for the UK , where are you located and what provider are you using

 

im in teesside and im with n*l

 

Try this

Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Menu 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

 

hi just tried that and still nothing

 

try scanning all providers
